Man, I totally forgot about this. Apparently, somebody else (Kalis himself?) had the same complaints about his Mindfield part that I had and fixed the situation. DC produced a remixed version that includes some of the b-roll footage and commissioned an exclusive track from the Jeru The Damaja as the soundtrack. That’s what I’m talking about.
On a sidenote, I have to that I admire Kalis for re-shaping the footage into the part he wanted it to be. A lot of people seemed bummed on his move to DGK but it seems like the fact that he felt compelled to do this in the first place was a sign that him and Workshop were probably over.
